Logann's First Soccer Practice!

Today was Logann's first soccer practice! My cousin, Bob, is the coach! We have 6 girls on the team. One of my goals this summer was to get her signed up to play soccer this fall, but it was also something that I put off a little too long. I remember that my cousin Bob suggested that when I do sign up the girls, that I go through the Eisenhower Soccer Club. So I called last week (forgetting how popular this sport is in Vancouver) to see if I could get her registered, and all spots were filled (of course) unless I was able to find a coach and enough girls to form a new team. So I thought about it for a while and came up with a crazy idea...I wondered if Bob would want to coach again (he coached his girls in this club when they were little) so I gave him a call! He said he was actually thinking of coaching again starting this year, so he happily agreed! He said that if I could round up enough girls, that he would coach...so I got on the phone and found enough of Logann's friends to form a team. Bob started the team off with their first practice today and the girls did great despite the hot weather! They took many water breaks! His daughters, Natalie and Hannah are going to help assist! We are pretty excited to see what the season brings!
