My First Preschool Field Trip!

My preschool group's first field trip was to the Felida Fire Department!  The fireman said we were the best group of 3-4 year olds he's seen in a long time!  The kids asked really good questions, were very interested in the demonstrations and had a lot of fun!

Mom's Surprise 60th Birthday Party!

We surprised Mom and threw her a party at our house in Vancouver.  Having Tacoma family and Lebanon family, Vancouver was a great meeting place.  Mom and Dad came up for the girl's soccer games and regular egg delivery.  While at the soccer games, Josh, Jeremy and Katie came to the house to set up.  We stopped back home after the soccer game to let the girls change out of their uniform and ... SURPRISE!

First Days of School

We've had a successful start to the 2013-2014 school year.  Logann is in 3rd grade, Peyton is in 1st grade, and Raegan in starting her first year of preschool.  It is crazy to think that Logann is in the grade that I taught.  It is weird having Peyton in school all day long.  I am happy to say that I am teaching again!  I am teaching preschool at our house and I have 5 students!  It's going to be a great year!

FOOTBALL!!!

We surprised the girls and took them to Oregon's opening game! It was a beautiful day and they enjoyed every minute of it!  The best part for me was when mom, dad and Josh pulled up to our tailgating area, dad stepped out wearing EWU and shouting "Go Eags!"  It was a great day to be a bird fan...the ducks won and my eagles beat OSU!

Dad wore the hat with my volleyball number on it!  #5

August 2013

So, blogging sorta got away from me in the month of August.  But here's a few pictures of some fun times!

Peyton's teeth are falling out left and right...somebody will be wishing for some teeth for Xmas this year!
Here's the youngest of my 3 fish!  She's a natural!
We thought we had a honeybee problem so we called in Troy with his green bee trapping box.  Turns out we had yellow jackets instead!

Putting in a garden did not make the cut this spring with our crazy backyard make-over so Papa Gabel came to the rescue with tons of weekly produce from his gardens at the farm!  The last picture is zucchini bars!  Hoping for my own garden next summer...I've already been begging Brent to think of how it can be added.

Logann and her buddy Brady were pen-pals this summer!  So excited to get his letters in the mail!
We lucked out and got a little bit of Liezen time!
Logann and Peyton got to train with Bob, Natalie and Hannah over the summer!  The best part was Blind Onion pizza lunch afterwards!

Logann and the Liberty Girls played in the Hood River Challenge and did great!  They were ranked in the top bracket of 4 out of 16 teams and won 3rd place.
Peyton posing next to the Naked Ladies that Grandma Dukes gave us.  They all came up very nicely this year!
 End of summer dentist appointments!
Back to School night...looking to see who their new teachers are!
