Raegan's First Trip to the Zoo!

How cute...Parker lifting up Peyton so she could see better! A prince in the making!

Denise's favorite part...the birds! Tweet Tweet!

The little map readers...showing us the way!
We had another day of beautiful weather so our friends, Denise, Parker and Ali joined us for a day at the zoo! The kids obviously had a great time, and we stayed for almost 4 hours! Good times with good friends, and cheetos and milk duds!

Fun Times With Raegan!

Here's the latest with Raegan! She had her two month check on January 25th and she weighed in at 13 lbs 3 oz and was 23 inches long! Big girl likes to eat and she is a very happy, healthy little girl...just how we like them! Now, she is already 3 months old, and is scheduled for her next check up on March 25th, so stay tuned for the next set of stats! Last week was her first time sitting up in the bumbo! She was able to sit there for a few minutes holding her head really well, but by the time I found my camera to take some video, she was a little wobbly! I was in the middle of making dinner, and she started to get fussy, so I took her out and put her in the placemat drawer until I had things wrapped up and able to take her out to the family room (where she could be a little more comfy!) She was almost longer than the drawer was wide! Anyways, I thought you would get a chuckle out of that one!

Valentine's Weekend

Papa and Grandma Gabel came up on Saturday to watch Logann's soccer game then they stayed to babysit the girls while Brent and I went on a Valentine's date! Our date was mid-day because we had plans later that evening to have dinner with mom and dad back at the house. We invited the Millhollen's over too! Mary and Natalie were able to make it, and Natalie aka "Matalie" was GREAT with the girls...they played the whole time!

Raegan CRASHED after a long day with Grandma and Papa!

Erin's parents, Tom and Joli, and her nephew Peter were in town today (Valentine's Day) so they stopped by to meet baby Rae! They are GOOD PEOPLE! We love the Flemings!

The girls made heart shaped pizzas for dinner and heart shaped sugar cookies for dessert. Tom, Joli, Erin & Peter joined us for the decorating festivities! So much fun to have the kids decorate them together!

The following pictures were taken earlier this week...while making valentines for our family and preschool friends. For the family valentines, we used lipstick and made kisses on them! I hope everybody liked them! I had cute, crafty valentines in mind, but when you have kids, things tend to be more kid-oriented rather than mom-oriented!

Yes, those red lip marks labeled "Raegan" were really hers...call me a bad mom, but I couldn't leave out Rae! Call it a first...first time wearing ruby red lipstick! Cousin Mary would be proud :)

Final Product!

Preschool and Soccer Team Valentine's!

Preschool Valentine's Party

On Friday, the Kempf's and the Dukes' decided to break the rainy day blues by going to JJ Jump for some indoor activity...much needed and LOTS of fun! Thanks Kempf's!

Root Beer Floats...the new favorite dessert!

Raegan's First Trip to the Farm!

We woke up on Sunday and saw that the weather was going to be nice, so we packed up and headed south for a day trip. First, we stopped at the Woodburn Outlets and Brent picked up some good deals on shoes and shirts! Then we went to Lebanon to turn the kids loose on the farm! Papa's pigs have been having babies, so we got to see lots of little piglets! Grandma fixed us dinner, and we hit the road back to the Couve! It was well worth the trip to be able to spend a sunny day at the farm! Grandma and Papa were pretty happy about the surprise visit too!

The Miss Congeniality Award Goes To...

Raegan!

This little girl is SO full of smiles...all the time! Raegan continues to be the easiest, funnest, most mellow baby I have ever known! Just like an alarm clock, she continues to only get up at 4am to eat, then back to bed until 8am or 9am! And I have been putting her to bed around 8pm, right along with Logann and Peyton! And this has been going on for about 6 weeks...so we will continue to enjoy it while it lasts!

The Mi-Mi (aka: binky) Fairy visited our house about a month ago! Over the last 3 months, we've been telling Peyton that one of these nights, the Mi-Mi Fairy is going to visit her. We told her she is going to get to leave her mi-mi on the night-stand for the Fairy to take, and that she will leave a special present in place of it. We would ask her every so often if she was ready to do that and the answer was always, "no, not yet." Well, about a month ago, she surprised us and said, "I'm ready to leave mi-mi, and I want the fairy to bring me the big princess doll Tiana from Princess and the Frog." So, that night, we wrote a letter to her and left her mi-mi out. So, the picture above is a picture of what the Fairy left...and she even wrote a note to Peyton telling her that she was a big girl for doing that, and she promised to give her mi-mi to a baby who needed it! (and yes, the Fairy left Logann a little something too there on the left for being such a supportive big sister!) The picture below is Peyton's first night without it...not a problem at all...slept through the night and has been ever since. She hasn't asked for it at all! This went way better than we expected! Peyton was so attached to that thing...I was sorta sad to see it go, because it means my baby is growing up!

Raegan absolutely LOVES her big sisters...total entertainment for all! Who needs those fancy play mats that have lights and music when you have two big sisters who sing and dance for you??!!

Miss Congeniality!

Logann and Peyton's way of showing a little bit of jealousy towards having a new baby in the house...they just want to be swaddled sometimes too!!!

A little bit of Mommy-Raegan time! I love having this little one around! I wouldn't be surprised if someday we have a 4th...despite the thought of Separated Pubic Symphysis...just a minor set-back but the end result is WELL worth it!
