Day Trip to Hood River and the Falls

We went on a day trip adventure to Hood River and Multnomah Falls over Memorial Day weekend.  We took the girls to a fancy brunch at the Columbia River Gorge Hotel.  7 courses later, we were stuffed and ready to hike Multnomah Falls!  We had beautiful sunny weather while in Hood River but on the drive back to the falls, it decided to pour.  We parked, waited in the car while a shower blew through, then lucked out with just a few light sprinkles.  We got wet mostly from the spray from the falls and the big water drops from the trees above us!  It was great to get out of the house and do something fun as a family!

All Done!

One month from start to finish!  We have been enjoying our new backyard every dry chance we get!  Getting the hot tub will be the icing on the cake!  The girls and I are thankful to have Brent around...he's pretty handy when it comes to landscaping!

The Hoop & New Grass

It is too rainy outside right now to take the final pictures of bark, trees, finished hoop and the path...so come back soon to see the finished project!

And Everythinig In Between...

Cousin Natalie and her friend Madison are coaching Peyton's Spring Soccer team.  They are undefeated so far!

Logann and Peyton were both awarded for their nightly reading.  They received a Gold Medal!

Raegan had a second MRI, this one was of her brain.  Her first MRI was when she was 18 months and it was of her lower spine and it turned out clear.  She was born with three types of hemangiomas.  The kind on her lower back have been of concern to her doctor and dermatologist.  We just found out yesterday that the recent MRI results were perfectly normal!  She goes back to her dermatologist at OHSU in 5 years to re-evaluate the hemangiomas.
