Spokane Trip

Peyton survived her first long road trip this weekend! We went to Spokane to visit our friends, Matt, JoEne, Andrew, and new baby Abigail. Peyton only slept 20 minutes on the way there, and about 2 hours on the way back. Logann didn't sleep at all on the way there, but took maybe a 20 minute nap on the way home. Crazy kids...they don't like to sleep in the car!

We got there on Friday evening, checked in to our hotel and went over to Janna and Todd's house (Brent and I went to high school with Janna) for a quick visit. Then we headed over to Matt and Jo's to have dinner with Jon and Karen. Pam Parks (my EWU volleyball coach) dropped by for a visit as well! It was great to see her again!

On Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch where we met Julie and Brad (I played volleyball with Julie at EWU) and their two baby girls. We had a great time...the kids fed the goats, played on hay bales, rode on a tractor and ran all over the pumpkin patch! It was a bit cold for Brent though...he was ready to head home and warm up before the Duck game! GO DUCKS by the way!

On Sunday we dropped by Jen and Jeremy's (Jo's brother) house for breakfast. Logann REALLY wanted to stay and play at their house and she let us all know about it if you know what I mean!!! After we got her calmed down, we loaded up once again and headed west.

It was a wonderful weekend...hope you enjoy the pictures!

Peyton is 6 Months Old!

Happy Half Birthday to Peyton! She is 6 months old now and we went to her doctor appointment yesterday. She weighed in at 17 pounds and was 28 inches long! She is officially grown out of her "bucket" infant car seat so now we are in the market for a booster seat for Logann. We only have two kids and we own...4 strollers, 3 car seats, 4 bouncer/jumpers...I could go on and on but it would make me realize that we need more storage space!!! I guess the true question is...is it all necessary??? Both of our parents got by without all the "gear" and as far as we know, we turned out fine!!!
Last weekend Brent and I took Jeremy and Dad to the Duck vs. WSU football game! We all had a great time! Mom, Aunt Dina and Grandma Fisher stayed back with the girls and had some good bonding time too.
On Sunday morning, Dad and I took Logann out to the farm to get corn stalks, corn and hay for our front porch's Fall decor. Logann had a great time walking through the corn field. She got to help Papa feed the pigs and she saw the sheep for the first time too.

What's New?

Hello everyone! The girls are both napping right now, so I decided to sit down to update the blog. Here are a few pictures that will help me explain what has been keeping us busy.

Brent and I went to the Duck game a few weekends ago. We met up with Amy and Deb and did a little tailgating...much fun! Brent, Jeremy, Dad and I are going to this weekend's game against the Cougs.

Peyton is growing up so fast. She will be 6 months tomorrow. Her next appointment with her doctor is Tuesday. I am curious to see how much she weighs and how long she is. She is sitting up so well and she enjoys watching Cooper and Logann. She likes to sit on the island and watch me cook dinner every night. She loves to eat too, but unfortunately she is following in her sister's footsteps and has been having troubles pooping. Nothing new for us to deal with, but we will discuss it with her doctor on Tuesday anyways!

I take Logann and Peyton to play park every Tuesday and Friday and they enjoy playing with all the kids. I love play park because it is my opportunity to chit-chat with other adults!!! We go to library storytime on Wednesdays too. Today Logann wanted to check out books about dinosaurs, so that is what we did! The man who does the storytelling is great...he really gets the kiddos involved. Logann is still doing gymnastics on Tuesday nights. She seems to be very athletic and coordinated for such a young girl...we will be sure to keep her involved in the activities that she is interested in.

Last week we had the opportunity to watch Hallie and Harrison. As you can see in the picture, Hallie and Logann read books together. They are so much fun to watch. We also got to watch Brady one morning. Brady is going to get a baby sister this coming February, so he decided to practice smooching on Peyton that day! He is a very loving kiddo...one of Logann's best friends!

Last weekend we went to Brady's birthday on Saturday morning, then we headed down to Hubbard to go to Amy and David's house for F-Day. We missed the pumpkin patch part, but we enjoyed the lunch and visiting with friends and family.

That's about all that has been going on here lately. Thanks for visiting the blog and hope to see/talk to you soon!
