Thanksgiving

First of all...we can't believe that Thanksgiving has already come and gone! Second, I can't believe that I haven't updated the blog in almost a month! December, Christmas, and Logann's birthday are going to be here before we know it. The girls are doing great. We had a great time over Thanksgiving weekend. We spent Thursday at my parent's house and Friday at Brent's parent's house. We came back home for Saturday and Sunday to finish decorating for Christmas. Brent got the lights on the house and we added timers this year so we no longer have to plug in and unplug the lights every night. One less thing to do in our nightly routine is always a good thing! Peyton is 7 1/2 months already and is still eating like a champ! An average of 20-25 cubes of baby food a day and still nursing about 4-5 times a day! She has two bottom teeth and continues to have a finger in her mouth which means she's probably cutting the top ones soon. I am predicting that she will be crawling in the next couple of weeks too...she gets up on all 4's and rocks. She took a step with her arms the other night but then fell to her belly! With all that food she eats, her belly is a lot of weight to keep off the ground! Logann had a blast helping us decorate the house for Christmas. We are still working on putting the ornaments on the tree and her job is to unwrap the ornaments, look at them, say a few cute things, then hands them to me to hang up! I think that is about all for now...we hope you had a great Thanksgiving too!

Our Halloween Monkeys!

Happy Halloween everyone! The girls had a great time last night trick-or-treating! We made stops at Bob & Mary's then to Janette's, then we headed back to our neighborhood. Peyton went to bed early so Erin, Logann and I made the rounds on our street.

Last weekend we had a Halloween gathering at Darryl and Sherry's and we had a chance to dress up the kids in their costumes. Peyton was a Pumkin for that event...I couldn't decided between the monkey or the pumpkin because they were both too cute. So, she got to be both...a pumpkin for that and a monkey on Halloween! Colin was a penguin so we had a good variety of critters! In the one picture of Peyton...she really didn't care what she was dressed up as...she just wanted to be done with it all!

When we returned from the weekend on Sunday, our friend Erin and her boyfriend came over to carve pumpkins with us. Brent's pumkin was an "O" in honor of the good ol' Ducks! Logann had a great time scooping out the guts and throwing them in the bowl. She wasn't afraid to get her hands dirty!
We hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween!
