Gabel Thanksgiving

This year's Thanksgiving weekend was a busy one!  We started out with celebrating at the Dukes' house with lots of family and friends and good food, of course!  Then we traveled to Uncle Jeremy's new house to celebrate with more family and friends!  We managed to squeeze in some time at the farm with the animals!  We lucked out and had some sunny weather...good times on the farm!  We then celebrated Raegan's 2nd birthday on Friday (pictures will follow), then traveled down to Eugene for the Civil War on Saturday...busy busy busy!

Stanford Road Trip!

Brent and I took George and Connie on a road trip to the Oregon vs. Stanford football game!  It was a total blast!  We caravanned with two other cars, 13 people total...the usual tailgating group that gets together for all the home games down in Eugene.  During the game, I got to see my strength and conditioning coach from my volleyball career at EWU, Tim Bruegman, who now is the academic coordinator for UofO football!  The sports announcer from Comcast Sportsnet, Joe Giansante, was also sitting by us, so I got a picture with him!  We also ran into David Paulson's parents...again!  We got a picture with his dad and uncle at the National Championship last year!  Random, I know...but fun!  Very nice people!  Overall the Stanford campus was awesome, tailgating was perfect, weather was fantastic, and friends were so much fun!  And Brent scored a VIP pass to be backstage at ESPN Gameday!

Crazy Mike!  His tradition is to drive home with his shirt off after the ducks win!

Halloween 2011

We began our Halloween festivities with a creepy dinner!  Stuffing swamp creatures, mummy dogs and blood, halloween shape mac-n-cheese, and witch's potion for drink.  Then we got costumes on and faces painted and began our night on the town.  We started with our usual stops...Millhollen's, Miranda's and Papa Patten's, then finished the night off in our neighborhood and the neighborhood across the street!  All three candy buckets were FULL!  As you can see, we had a witch, a cat, and the cutest pumpkin EVER!
