This is the second year in a row that "Elfie", one of Santa's scout elves, has visited our house for the holidays. His job is to watch over us during the day and then fly back to the North Pole to report to Santa. Each day we try to be good so that he can tell Santa that we belong on the "nice" list! This year we noticed that he felt comfortable with us and like part of the family, because he decided to have a little bit of fun during the week before Christmas. His girlfriend even visitied!
Meet Sparkle! Isn't her skirt cute?! She had a snowflake on her hat as well as a sparkly jewel at the tip of her hat. She left a note mentioning that Elfie had told her all about us and that she wanted to drop by from time to time. Elfie must have wanted more time to make toys at the Pole!
Sparkle was CRAZY! We found her baking cookies the first day.
Her second visit included a tea party with our Barbies!
She only visited two days this year, but Logann left her a note asking her to not clean up her mess (which the scout elves ALWAYS do) because the girls wanted to play with the cute little tea set. Notice that Sparkle is gone...and Elfie returns in the following pictures...

His first day back we found him sitting on top of our Christmas Tree, toilet papered :) His second day back, he was playing Legos. Then on Christmas eve, he brought gifts for the girls and decided to cut snowflakes out of the Christmas wrapping paper scraps! He left the girls a note saying the he had a fun month of December with us, he will miss us, and to be good so that he can return again next year!
