Katie's Bridal Shower Weekend

We headed down south for Katie's bridal shower a few weekends ago. It was a busy weekend because we had a few events to go to for both sides of the family. Brent's great aunt and uncle were in town so we had a dinner out at the Dukes'. The weather held off long enough for pony rides. We also had dinner at my parent's house. We surprised dad with an early birthday gift...green and yellow Nike shoes for the duck games this fall! Now he will fit in with the rest of us :) Katie's shower was on Sunday and the girls and I had a great time. Still hard to believe that Jeremy is getting married! And to such a nice girl!

Mother's Day

Brent and the girls spoiled me all weekend as they do every Mother's Day weekend! Brent took me on a little shopping trip to get some new outfits for our Vegas trip. He also got me a Cricut! I've been wanting one for a while and am so glad that I got a good deal on it! We hosted dinner and invited the Millhollen's over! The girls and I made place cards at the dinner table and they wanted to set out the china! It was a nice, relaxing weekend and everyone had a great time!

Easter Weekend

We decorated Easter Eggs on Friday night. There was a knock on the door at dinner time. The girls ran to the door to see who it was, but there was nobody to be seen. They saw an envelope stuck in our decorative mailbox on the porch. It was from the Easter Bunny! He said that he heard we were going to be out of town for Easter this year, but he still wanted to visit our house! He asked us if he could visit us on Saturday morning rather than Sunday! So later that evening before bedtime, the girls left him a note saying that it was ok to visit and that they would set out the eggs for him!

And...sure enough, he visited and hid the eggs and left baskets full of goodies!

We headed straight out to the farm on Saturday morning to help Papa build some fence!

Logann was a good helper, Peyton was a good supervisor!

Later that evening, we had dinner at Grandma and Papa Gabel's with Jeremy and Katie!

Grandma Great and Raegan really do have a special connection! Rae just LOVES her!

Peyton's Birthday Party

We celebrated Peyton's 4th birthday at Naydenov here in Vancouver. She was surrounded by family and friends and had a fantastic party! Happy 4th birthday to our very special little girl!
