Christmas Day

"Oh my gosh...Pillow Pets!"

We got to host Christmas Day this year with Grandma and Papa Gabel and Uncle Jeremy and soon to be Aunt Katie! We made prime rib...and have to say that the Kosher Salt crust is KEY!!! Oh my gosh was it SOOOOOOO flavorful and tender...no knife needed! To start, the appetizers included crab cakes with caper sauce, pork wontons with sweet chili sauce, and crab stuffed mushrooms. To go along with the prime rib, we made potato casserole, roasted asparagas, caesar salad and cheesy bread. My mouth is watering again dangit! Thanks for coming up G and G Gabel and Jeremy and Katie...it was a treat to have you all over!

Christmas Morning

Waking up Logann to tell her Santa visited!

Waking up sleepy head Rae!

Peyton discovered that Santa brought her a new bike! Rae was cheering for her!

Logann got a new bike too...a big girl bike with a kick stand! That was the first thing she screamed..."Oh my gosh, it has a kick stand!"

Desks!

Tinkerbell Dolls!

Princess Dolls!

A play table for Rae!

Penguin ornaments!

Logann and Peyton helped Raegan open most of her gifts.

Peyton LOVES her new bike and fancy helmet!

And Cooper LOVES his new beaver chew toy :)

LOOK WHAT MOMMY AND DADDY GOT!!! We are going to the Natty baby!

Christmas Eve

Brian and Tara hosted Christmas Eve this year. We enjoy the tradition of rotating houses each year for the Christmas Eve event! Brian cooked prime rib and deep fried a turkey, which were both amazing! The kids had a blast opening gifts from each other! Afterwards, we came home and quickly set out cookies, carrots and milk for Santa and his reindeer! They said their good-byes to our elf scout, Elfie and then headed to bed! They were OUT like lights, and didn't get out of their room once to sneek a peek to see if Santa arrived yet!

Santa Landing!

Another holiday event that we attend each year is Santa Landing! Thank you Melisa, for hosting again this year! This is an Eisenhower tradition that we are very thankful to be able to attend since it has been almost 4 years since I have worked there! Thanks Ike buddies!

Cookies, Cookies, Cookies!

One of the goodies in their Bags of Christmas a few weeks ago was Christmas cookie cutters! We've been baking cookies ever since! Daddy doesn't mind at all...he LOVES sugar cookies made by his girls!

BTW...Rae is walking!
