Grandma and Papa Gabel were able to come up for another one of Logann's soccer games! We lucked out with beautiful fall weather, so what would be more appropriate? BiZi Farms of course! We came home after soccer, had the traditional bread bowl potato soup, then headed out to the pumpkin patch! Seems like this is an annual tradition!

Logann's Field Trip to Pomeroy Farms
Logann's class went to Pomeroy Farms up near LaCenter this year. It was fun to go to a new pumpkin patch up in our area, but I would have to say that BiZi Farms is still the favorite! It was fun to go along as a chaperone! Thanks to a Thursday night Duck football game, and Brent having Friday off work...he was able to stay home with Peyton and Raegan so that I could go on the field trip! I actually stayed for the rest of the day and volunteered in Logann's classroom and did some projects for her teacher!
Peyton's Field Trip to the Fire Department
Peyton's preschool class went to the Felida Fire Department this year! It is so fun to see the looks on the kids' faces...some are happy, some are excited, some are very cautious, and some are almost afraid! I wouldn't say that Peyton was afraid, but she was definitely cautiously interested!
Grandma Gabel's Birthday!
This year Grandma Gabel's birthday was on a Saturday! It worked out perfectly because Logann had a soccer game and the Ducks had an away game so they were able to come spend the day with us! Grandma got new shoes...with ducky colors to wear to the games!
Bye Bye Summer...
You would think that taking down the pool at the end of summer would be a sad event. Not for Raegan! For her, it was just another chance to play in the water...even though it was pretty cold water! She's a smart one...she has her floaty on because she was getting in the hot tub to warm up between pictures!
Peyton's First Day of Second Year Preschool
Yes, it's true...Peyton is in her last year of preschool...which means she'll be in KINDERGARTEN next year! That's all she talks about! It is so fun to have her in Preschool twice a week in the afternoons because it means I get to be with her every morning of the week, plus all day on MWF! We've started a new reading program at home and she is doing so well! AND she loves it! "Momma, can we do my lesson now?" is a very common statement from her throughout the day!
