Spokane Trip

 The house behind us is the house that Brent and I lived in for the last 3 years while we attended EWU!

We took a trip to Spokane on the first weekend in August to spend some time with the Liezen Family!  We had a great time as always!  Our time was spent lounging by the Heimbigner's pool (thanks Jon and Karen!) and we took a trip out to good ol' Cheney to check out the changes to our old stomping grounds!  Wow has EWU changed!  The kids had a great time walking around campus, seeing the new red football field, and stopping in front of the house that Brent and I lived in for 3 years!  

Labor Day Weekend

We rented a house in Waldport, OR for Labor Day weekend this year!  Grandma, Papa and Uncle Josh joined us and Grams and Papa Dukes drove over to spend a day with us as well.  We went crabbing, cockle shell raking, metal detecting, walked the beach, roasted marshmallows on the campfire, and celebrated Brent's birthday a few days early!  Everyone had a great time!

Went through this batch of pictures from August and the camera must have been "Peyton Happy" because all the good pictures had Peyt in them! Such a beautiful girl, inside and out!

Girl's Trip to the Farm

The girls and I spent a week down in Lebanon in early August...it was our window of opportunity between the end of swimming lessons and the beginning of soccer practice/start of school. Of course, the girls had a great time exploring the farm, collecting eggs, petting the cows, riding the 4 wheeler and spending time with Uncle Josh, Papa and Grandma! Highlights of this trip were building a birdhouse with Papa and finding a mummified fox! Fun times at the farm!

Our Brady Boy!

Here are some pictures from the Kempf's visit! Everytime we get the chance to have Brady-Boy over, we try and spoil him as much as possible! He is our most favorite little guy! The connection that he and Logann have is so special, and the distance doesn't seem to matter. When we get these two back together the "crazies" have a BLAST together! We are going to have to keep our eye on these two in the future :)
