Blount Mansion (President George Washington appointed Blount to be Governor of the Territory of the United States South of the River Ohio. He governed from the home of William Cobb at Rocky Mount, until he concluded the Treaty of the Holston. Then he announced his capital would move to Knoxville, a city that did not yet exist, and construction began on Blount Mansion in 1792.)

More of the pre-game show...I have no other pictures because it was raining so hard! I didn't want to expose my camera to the sheet of water that poured out of the sky! After the lightening, thunder and downpour, the game continued and the Ducks decided to take over the game! GO DUCKS!!! What a great weekend spent together! Happy Birthday Brent, and Happy 15 Years together! Yes...15 years believe it or not!!!

Logann's First Day of Kindergarten!

We kicked off the new school year on Tuesday night by going to the Back to School social!

Logann got to sign the guest page...then we went to her classroom to meet her teacher.

Logann was a little shy, but decided that she liked her first impression of Mrs. Ellingsen!

The morning of...she woke up a bit early (and she has afternoon Kindergarten!) She was dressed and ready to go by 7:15...waiting 4 hours was the longest 4 hours ever!

So, we had time for waffles and cream!

But, the bus to school was over a half hour late, so I drove her in. She was a bit sad that she didn't get to ride the bus to school, but was excited to ride it home! With all the waiting, and then change of plans, I didn't even get a chance to cry!!! Phew!

And, she is home!

She couldn't wait to tell me all about her day and show me her new school folder! Way to go Logann! We are so proud of you!
