CRAZY!!!

It is almost 11:30pm and I couldn't get to sleep, so I decided to mess around with my new computer. I thought it would be fun to play around with our blog and make some changes and add some things that I have been wanting to add. I learned how to create the timelines off to the right...and discovered (after creating and posting Peyton's timeline) that she is 2 years, 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 days old TODAY! I just thought that was so crazy, that I had to post it! Happy Terrific Two's Peyton! Ok...now this is weird...she just started crying and she NEVER wakes up at night...gotta go tell her "happy 2 day" before midnight :)

Grandma Gabel came up to spend the weekend with us on Father's Day Weekend. Papa was on a fishing trip with Jeremy, so only Grandma made it up. On Sunday, we all went down to Esther Short Park here in Vancouver, and we ran into the Hoffarth's and the Kempf's! It was a great surprise to see them all at the park, and the kids all got to play together! We hope all you fathers out there had a great Father's Day!

"Momma, it's the ice cream truck!"

The joys of summer! Almost every evening the ice cream truck rolls around to our neighborhood. Occasionally we'll let the girls go pick something out. It is so exciting for them. They really look forward to it, especially if they have been good during the day!

Dinner at the Millhollens

A few weekends ago, Aunt Aldy was in town to go to Hannah's High School Graduation. We were invited over to Bob and Mary's for a fun evening of yard games and a super yummy seafood bbq dinner. As usual, the food was delicious and the time spent with the Millhollen's and Aunt Aldy was wonderful!

Exciting News at the Dukes' House!!!

Yep! That would be a picture of Baby Dukes #3! We are expecting a baby sometime near the end of November/beginning of December depending on when my doctor schedules the C-Sec! I am 15 weeks 1 day pregnant and finally feeling better. The first trimester was much more uncomfortable than the pregnancies with the girls! Maybe it will be a boy this time around. Our big ultrasound is on June 30th so we will let you know what the gender is! The girls are very excited...Logann says it will be a baby brother named Landen, and Peyton says it will be a baby sister named Reagan! We will be happy with either one! Our second piece of big news is that Brent took a job with Southwest Washington Medical Center (the hospital where the girls were born) here in Vancouver! His first day was Monday and he says it has been going well and he is learning tons of new things already! His commute is a short 10 miles each way straight down I205. Besides a much shorter commute, we will no longer have to pay Oregon Income Tax...yipee! It will be nice to have him working right here in Vancouver...we are so happy! Oh yeah, he is a Clinical Informatics Analyst II...and you'll have to ask him what that means because I have not a clue :)

Peyton's 2 Year Pictures

We had pictures taken recently! Peyton is 2 years and 2 months old and Logann is 4 years and 5 months old. Uncle Jeremy bought the girls the outfits for Peyton's birthday...he has pretty good taste huh! The shirts have strawberries embroidered on the front, so they wore them to the Strawberry Parade too!
